Seteru yang timbul akibat Rancangan Undang-undang (RUU) Permusikan yang dilayangkan Anang Hermansyah (anggota Komisi X DPR RI), KAMI Musik Indonesia (KAMI), PAPPRI (Persatuan Artis Penyanyi, Pencipta Lagu, dan Pemusik Republik Indonesia), musisi serta pekerja seni di bidang musik lainnya menjadi pemicu untuk saya meluncurkan mixtape ini. Tajuk yang dipilih adalah Against Government! Tolak RUU Permusikan sebagai respon atas RUU Permusikan dan kejahatan negara yang akhir-akhir ini sering terjadi.
